Digital Asset Management (DAM)
As a comprehensive digital asset management (DAM) solution, the InterRed ContentHub enables all digital content and assets to be stored, created, organized, found, accessed and shared centrally in one place.
Digital Asset Management (DAM)
What is digital asset management?
Content creators, editors, editorial staff, marketing or social media managers and many others who work with content often spend a lot of time trying to find the "right" asset. This includes texts, images, videos, but also documents, forms, fact sheets, translations into different languages, metadata and much more. In some cases, they are scattered across different systems (e.g. ERP, PIM, CRM, CMS, DMS, etc.), which makes searching for and finding information time-consuming. Digital asset management (DAM for short) is the process of managing, organizing and distributing digital assets with a central tool (e.g. a content hub). The main goal of DAM is to help companies create, edit and manage content centrally throughout the entire content lifecycle.
What does digital asset management offer?
Centralized DAM systems are quick to deploy and easy to use. Such a solution provides colleagues, employees, customers, contractors and other key stakeholders with controlled access to the entire library of digital content. For example, a DAM contains photos, creative files, videos, audio files, presentations, documents and other forms of content. Digital asset management software helps with the creation, archiving, management, reuse and even editing of digital content. It does this by assigning metadata (a unique description of each asset) that makes it easier to find, filter and manage assets across an organization's ecosystem.
Digital asset management with InterRed
As a central, AI-based content hub, InterRed offers many advantages. These include media-neutral data storage for publishing content in all channels (online, social, app, print, e-paper, etc.), the integrated media database, workflow management, integrated campaign, action and topic planning and the integrated archive. All these and many other functions are used to use the system for database-supported content management. Content is thus centrally managed, organized and categorized, can be archived, found more quickly and made available for every application.
This allows assets of all kinds, be it texts, images, videos, audio files, documents, etc., including metadata, to be organized and managed. At the same time, the advantages of the underlying technology are fully utilized: browser-based operation enables flexible access, integrated versioning ensures that the life cycle of content is traceable and the integrated media database manages all media content, with extensive search functions, rights and exploitation management as well as automated remuneration and proof of use. This also includes integrated image processing and video editing.
Processes are automated through the integration of artificial intelligence. Many processes and workflows can be optimized through automatic translations, automated workflows and even comprehensive automated multi-channel publishing.
InterRed can be flexibly integrated into the existing system landscape as digital asset management via the existing interfaces and APIs.

Optionally available and technically integrated are modules that can be used for content publishing if required. In addition to the possibility of connecting to other systems, the ContentHub with its extensive functions is greatly expanded.
